If only part of a ponys hoof is inserted, it is tagged fingering.

If the ponys wrist is inserted, it is tagged fisting.

Its fingering because you can see the whole wrist is not inserted if you look closely at the top right view. Good question though!

Horses have wrists, but its limited in movement, and horses arent known for using them for anything except walking. MLP ponies have simplier bodies and their wrists are lower down than a horse so its usually ambiguous where the wrist is untill its bent.
