Actually they do have other teeth. Anacondas have a bunch of rear facing teeth to prevent prey from going anywhere other than down its throat.

And if you look at images of their skulls even the venomous ones like cobras and rattlesnakes have a good number of teeth that aren't the main fangs.

Though theirs are much smaller and harder to see. And they're definitely don't have the shark mouth style like this guy does.

With the way this guy's teeth are set up I'd assume those big fangs would be just for show.

The big fangs are venomous: that's a rattlesnake. With big teeth. The fangs should also fold into the mouth.
