You miss Avi too right? And Dreamertooth as well I guess?
You know, I find strange that there's only 12 posts featuring Avesta in all of e621 at the time (Sept. 2024). Considering the popularity of the Avesta Trilogy on this site, there should be far more posts of fan arts and animators attempting to replicate the success of Dreamer's magnum opus.

What I find more strange is the fact that Dreamer kind of just... fell off the face of the earth. I haven't heard anything from them and from the looks of things, they haven't even updated their Patreon in forever. Does anyone have any insight into this?

Not much. I've heard rumors of Dreamer losing access to their accounts to a hacker group around mid '22, and trying to get them back since them. Hell, even people closer to them like Jhelisa and Bkmat seem to know barely anything about the situation.

Thats still worrying, I don't buy the hacker bit unless Dreamer was that shit with security, and even then, they still could've made some sort of way to explain the news (including the fact that they have a discord account and twitter the last time I checked)... I think personally its something way more personal if not... they just left the internet. There is potential that Dreamer got too much publicity and bringing too much stress but again... that's rumor. Its really uncommon to see someone so high profile just dip like that.

IIRC they lost their accounts for a time, but are now just working full time at a job, and just don't have the kind of time needed to be online anymore. Remember a post someone made about them clearing that up to a few people.

Well, that's still odd, especially how they were making so much money to buy several high-end cards within a short period. They were making some serious cash flow at the time. Including how so many people are still subbed to their patreon. Could've been simply burnout which is understandable, but I would be lying if I said that Dreamer didn't leave a legacy on this website of any sort.
