Hornet is not a Weaver there is no source in game or anywhere else like the Wanders Journal from Fan Gamer that says she is a weaver. The lore also doesn't imply it either. In fact the Wanderers Journalfrom Fan Gamer debunks Hornet being a Weaver by flat out saying the Weavers came to deepnest after the Pale King established Hallownest. Meaning if you know Hornet's origin story its impossible for her to be a Weaver. Hornet is only a spider. All Weavers are spiders but not all spiders are Weavers. This is a big misconception many make.

If you can cite a source proving otherwise I will print this comment out and eat it.

Specifically;
Hornet is the daughter of the pale king and herrah the beast, herrah being the queen of the spider tribe, SPIDER tribe, not weaver tribe, hornet is one we don't really have that specific of a name for considering her mask isn't like the other ones.

Yup. Not to mention Herrah and the Weavers have two separate dens. Showing that the two groups are indeed different.

Is it possible Hornet and Herrah and the other spiders in deepnest are part of some other tribe? Maybe. However nothing in the game or Wanders Journal Book says that. The closest we get are.
Spiders are referred to as beasts. However if you look at all other instances of the word beast being used in Hollowknight. The most logical definition of the word is its referring to any living creature that is not a bug or bug humanoid. IE Snails, worms, mushrooms, living plants, crabs/isopods ect ...
The other next closest name we get is the stalking devouts
But the devout in their name refers to them being guards of Herrah not any tribe

In any case Weaver is not the name of a species within hollow knight, but the name of a tribe, and it's not the name of an artist either.

Maybe partly a species. The Hunter's journal calls one enemy Little Weavers. But in the journal entry the Hunter calls Little Weavers spiders
