  • I love that even though this is explicit and has distinct sexual undertones, it doesn't really feel pornographic. It feels more like they're friends who've been close for a long time, and this is the first moment when one of them decided they want to be even closer for even longer.

I love that he looks so confused, even though his body is definitely already picking up on what's happening. It's like he's familiar with her being playful like this and would normally be reciprocating, but he's taken so off guard by the unusual energy behind it this time that he doesn't know how to react. And it's really fucking cute. She couldn't be more obvious about what she wants, and yet he's still totally oblivious to her outright presenting herself, because the first place he thought to look when he was uncertain of her intent was right into her eyes.

And I love how much it looks like she knew he would. It actually seems really clever of her, like she set up a mischievous little puzzle for him to work out himself so that she wouldn't have to deal with the awkwardness of trying to say it directly. The tail bite stops him from going anywhere and intuitively communicates "play time," but instead of following through on that she just sits there waiting ...and that's pretty weird, so of course he'll then try to ask her what she's doing, but her mouth will conveniently already be too full of his tail for her to speak, so she'll only be able to respond by giving him a wry smile that suggests he's missing something obvious, which should get him to start looking around.

Then she gets to watch him becoming all flustered as he tries to piece together whatever it is he's missing. Then she gets to watch him becoming waaaaaaay more flustered once he finally does notice and things start to click, and I just really, really love that.

Dunno why this hit me so hard, but it got me to feel some big feels, and that's the best thing that art can do. Thanks for sharing your utterly enchanting work, Elcy!
