Why is the harder (I'm guessing here since he's using it) one larger than the softer one?

No.

The animation is smooth but my brain is still trying to wrap itself around the dick situation

I get that you're trying to go for a double dick but this does not look like the same dick

Hmmm, it may be the perspective in which I animated this scene that makes it look funny to others.
I’ll tell you now that the Roaring_tides model has 2 dicks. I didn’t resize or change the model in anyway. I animated one dick inside and one dick outside. You can even check the tag for Roaring_tides_(reptilligator) on this site and see that this model has 2 dicks.
I’m sorry that this animation confuses some, and I’ll try to do better with perspective and camera position next time.
