It was an escalation that lead to this, the reason they wanted to ban these people was due malicious fake news, so stop pretending this is some kind of unjust censorship. You can't say absolutely anything and expect no consequences, you can't abuse your free speech to cause harm and expect society to not fight back.

Elon wouldn't ban 8 accounts that incited january-6-like inssurections and fired twitter's legal rep in brazil, and in brazil you cant run a business without a legal rep, so it got banned
