Inigo, I don’t think those methods of bonding will work. Have you tried asking those with more experience on the subject how to do it?

It’d be really funny if Malachi ended up Battle Bonding to Maelstrom though. XD

From what we've seen the trigger seems to be combining your moves to achieve some sort of effect in the heat of the moment.

Simple training won't trigger it, but can get you in the mindset that'll make you able to do it when you need to.

They try to do this with Rune freezing his spikes the way she does Dielle's claws, but in this case there's no real effect. One thing I think COULD work for them is to have Rune put a layer of ice on the ground so that, instead of sinking in and stopping, Inigo's Poison Sting bounces along it and achieves greater range.

Or if he has punching moves Rune could just freeze his fists and give him some "brass" knuckles.
