I must be dense, but I'm not getting the "He said the thing" part. I know it's typically the name of the media, or current arc, so I'm not sure what it is this time. The name of the tournament? I'm lost and it is annoying me.

I think it's the tournament thing they're going to. The Vanderskaug Power Play.

It has to either be "as well you should be" or "you feel ready for it", but I don't know which, or what either would be a reference to.
The chapter name is 'Power Play'. The competition is either Vanderskaug Power Play (Eris), or Vanderskaug Grand Slam (see thumbnail below). It seems Eris is going to Vanderskaug, too. Is he going to get a ride with Sha and co? Is he competing, coaching, or observing/spectating? (He is an accomplished Solarin mage.)
