MemberIt always makes me laugh to see Coco and Crash together, their design styles are so different. Maybe the designers for Coco had future furry gooners like me in mind?
Recursion
JanitorDefinitely not. It is the opposite, actually. Coco was created largely in response to Sony management feeling that Tawna was too old and sexual to appeal to Japanese gamers. So they intentionally made Coco to be the antithesis of Tawna, young and cute instead of old and sexy.
Though I doubt Sony management in the mid-90s could have predicted that Coco would one day end up becoming a furry fandom thicc queen anyways.Though I always find the idea of her being too "old" funny considering none of the characters in the Crash universe have specifically established ages in-canon iirc.

MemberTechnically, Crash is a
midgetshort person, and Coco's height was decided with the intent of making her appear "related" to Crash. I don't think it's necessarily an age thing though. And you're right, none of the characters in Crash Bandicoot have an official age. The closest you could get is if you include the Spyro franchise (due to crossovers) where Hunter has a date of birth (22nd of April 1975) stated in-game in Spyro 2 (it's worth noting that game came out in 1999).
