Traumatizing

They found them in the middle of the marsh, with barely any place to hide while the hunter's wife was in the throes of labor. The hunter was prepared for them, however, determined to not let his family meet the same fate as their village. Through brutal blows and receiving cuts in return, each assailant fell under the might of the hunter's axe, their leader catching sight of his would-be prey giving new life to the world as he found himself swiftly leaving his shoulders by the hunter's hand.

(Artist's Note: Please ignore the coincidental coloring of the feathers on the axe. I chose a palette that "looked cool" and it aged rather poorly.)

    Huh, i thought argonians lay eggs like in the Lore and what it show on ESO o-o

    But still nice artwork though.

    I've been working on the (maybe-or-maybe-not-anymore) canon explanation that argonians can have viviparous births depending on environment and situation (i.e. nomads), and me being a fan of live birth, I took that to exaggerated levels...
