MemberDont got any? DO YOU THINK I BELIEVE THAT MAGGOT YOU LOST VERY EXPENSIVE MILLITARY EQUIPMENT
SeventyGayWerewolves
Member"Don't have any? YOU EXPECT ME TO BELIEVE THAT, MAGGOT!? Truth is, you lost an expensive piece of army-issued equipment. That suit is going to come out of your pay, and you will remain in this man's army, until you are FIVE HUNDRED AND TEN YEARS OLD, WHICH IS THE NUMBER OF YEARS IT WILL TAKE FOR YOU TO PAY FOR THE MARK II COMBAT ARMOR YOU HAVE LOST! REPORT TO THE ARMORY AND HAVE A NEW SUIT ISSUED TO YOU, THEN REPORT BACK TO ME, PRIVATE! DISMISSED!"

MemberI prefer X-02, slightly better than X-01.

PrivilegedHmm, do you even need armor if a super mutant?
Too bad FEV didn't mean Furry Evolutionary Virus.
Temp7
MemberThere's actually no Super Mutant here. People are just sprouting Frank Horrigan's dialogue even though he's not in the picture. This is Frank Horrigan - the helmet is totally different, armor is shaped different, and he's way bigger, about 11 feet tall. The guy in the picture is a random Brotherhood of Steel paladin.
I would know - I requested this picture. π
(EDIT: Actually, the one being quoted was Arch Dornan. I had a brain fart π€ͺ)

PrivilegedWell, it was more of a reference to when I played Fallout 1 and 2. Those guys weren't exactly needing (or able to use) the armor. It was like putting leather on a tank. XD
So... of course someone put a SM in powered armor. TBF, this was played over a decade ago so I don't remember which game did it or if I played it.
I only played 1-3.
Temp7
MemberFallout 2 was the one with the Super Mutant in Power Armor: Frank Horrigan.
If i could make a recommendation, you should play Fallout: New Vegas - it's every bit as good as the classics in it's world building and roleplaying - the characters actually react to the choices you make. Also, if you only ever install one mod, make it this one.

Yes, I know Frank was Enclave, not Brotherhood, but it still fits.
Besides, it seems like the Brotherhood's becoming more like the Enclave lately.
Temp7
MemberNothing that Bethesda says is canon because I said so. βΊοΈ
More seriously, the Brotherhood of Steel would hate Emilia by default due to the horrible mutants she makes.
toradrow777
MemberSheesh! If she weren't an anthropomorphic bunny she would actually fit right in with the Enclave. And even then they might make an exception if only to exploit her genius.
Once she outlived her usefulness or became more trouble than she's worth, however...

MemberYeah that's why I requested this picture: it's pretty much what the Brotherhood would do to her. They don't like unethical science experiments - especially ones that turn people into mutants.
As for the Enclave, she'd be right at home there, or better yet: the Big Mountain research facility.
toradrow777
MemberThat's not Frank's dialogue the folks above us were quoting. It's Sergeant Arch Dornan.
Temp7
MemberFuck you're right! I feel stupid. π
Either way, it's a quote from an Enclave dude, when the guy in the picture is Brotherhood.
