When S3 was announced as the final season I assumed and hoped that would mean substantial changes to the ending. Odds of them doing that now are low since it is in two parts now.

They have Haru in the poster, so they must know that we want to see more of her. If they're going to be making changes, hopefully having her be a part of the plot is one of them.

They should also get rid of Jacks conspiracy with the school, the deus ex machina whale, melons dad, Kyuu's betrayal/in general, Haru offering herself up to Melon,

These are just what I can remember, could be more, its been awhile but these didn't go anywhere either. The manga really just starting throwing so many things at us just to never bring it up again.

IMO Louis and Legoshi should have gotten to together. They had the most chemistry throughout the show and manga but then just didnt end up together in the end.

Watching "Final Season" gives me flashbacks to Attack of Titans, I just hope to see more of Haru on screen❤️

Playing up Louis' genuine connection to the lions, then going absolutely nowhere with it with them inexplicably following Melon again immediately thereafter.Coffee cat conspiracy, again went nowhere. (Good riddance though, hopefully that whole sequence is cut personally.)What seemed what looked like character development for Agata, then he just lost all agency and the entire chain of events is forgotten.Gohin disappears from the plot, except for giving Legoshi something for another dumb plot point I don't want to even mention.Big dramatic scene with Louis and Legoshi proclaiming they are responsible for each other (iirc), only to imply they cut ties (one of the worst parts of the ending). What I hated most after they had a moment together they literally fell down a hole and Edge Rabbit made her appearance. Her showing up is when I started to lose hope about it getting better.I actually liked his dad showing up. It showed his entire backstory may have been delusion.Somewhere in there was potential for an amazing plot involving the lions, Louis, and Legoshi working together with a 'B' plot further developing the students' fighting to keep things positive. Instead it was a barrage of plot points most of which didn't stick and fell flat and disappeared forever.Despite that negativity, I really look forward to the rest of the anime. Orange cannot possibly make it worse, unless they cut out Louis and Legoshi's chemistry. I'm really looking forward to seeing the "why are herbivores such beautiful life forms" moment, as Legoshi was looking at Louis. In canon I never saw the two getting together, but the chemistry is definitely there.

Happy to see more beastars content, but it adapts my least favorite arcs :(

I think r* must have some part with how fucking slow they take, ITS 2024, they aren't even writing the story, just adapting it to 3d, ai could do it in a week

because none of them showed the intention of being together as a romantic couple at all. Legoshi showed that he wants to be with Haru during almost all the manga, heck it's the main reason of the last and longest arc (melon arc), so it was obvious since the first arc they were the endgame. And Louis' priority are the lions and the company, not romantic relationships.
