True but if you think about it what's the worst thing she can do with it? Unlike Eggman who wants to use its power for evil Rouge will just hoard and she does take care of her already stolen gems. If anything the master emerald will have many tiny friends. Kinda ironic.

She can horde it, but I doubt that she'd do a better job than Knuckles at keeping it away from the likes of Eggman ounce he finds out she has it. People who want precious gems are one thing, people who want a super-mega nuke is a WHOLE 'nother rogues gallery you don't want to draw the attention of.
