For sure, yeah! Something like him is merely meat to it to be consumed on every level beyond the body and mind. My favorite idea toying with this is imagining this interdimensional being of such great mass that its consciousness is purely on a primal level. By eating a human, it has become fundamentally changed by the introduction of human concepts and awareness, with what could crudely be defined as his soul existing literally in its brain. He is no larger than a new brain cell for it.

I'm already emotionally invested in this relationship.
