MLP and EQG are separate AUs from one another. In the MLP universe they're ponies/dragons/gryphons/whatever. In the EQG one they're mostly humans. Mostly as in everyone except for a single dragon seen so far, and he's a dog instead.

Cadance and Shining Armor are a married couple, with a baby. This is the EQG Cadance getting railed by the MLP universe's Shining Armor. A cross-over fuck. So, he's cheating on his (pony) wife with his AU counterpart's (human) wife.

Though this ignores the canon way the two AUs interact with one another. Crossing between the AUs changes you into your counterpart's race. So when Twilight crosses over, she pops out a human. A human going from the EQG universe would theoretically turn into a pony. So Cadance here should be a pony instead of a human, or Shining a human instead of a pony. But, you know, porn.

Yep. That's a plot point, actually. In the first EQG movie the rest of the girls didn't actually know Twilight in their own world. But the magic shenanigans in the first two movies got her attention when she started picking up weird readings on her science-y equipment and she came to investigate. Cue a big introductory adventure/plot (and of course confusion because they think this is MLP Twilight initially) and they eventually become friends. From this point forward in the EQG movies the Twilight we mostly see is the human one. She also learns about her own pony counterpart, IIRC.
