Hehe well there's a couple of things to keep in mind. First off there's the idea of the acid of the salt grubs who tend to be plentiful in the area and give it an extra kick relatively early on in the fermentation. BUT, that same acid overtime creates an additional reaction which not only highly lowers the potency or proof, but also creates an additional property of being a...light anesthetic? Point being. Drink sooner, not later. But please know I'm no student of chemical reactions, nor am I a drinker let alone familiar with drinking culture. This was all, if anything, supposed to be a subversion of the drinking trope.
