I think that's up to you. If there was an actual story behind this image then it may be easier to chose "sides".

There are a number of reasons snuff and gore appeal to people that I can think (and have read) of, and it seems that for a lot of people, it's a coping mechanism.
Some might use it as an outlet for violent tendencies (draw or look at it to satisfy those tendencies so one doesn't act them out (E.G. hurting a fictional character so that temptation to hurt a real person/animal doesn't happen)).
Some may be turned on by the violence, sometimes irrationally, so for some it might be an attempt to desensitize themselves so as not to be turned on (an example is that after first learning about angel lust (death_erections), any time hanging was brought up or discussed, I would become physically aroused, often involuntarily. It wasn't hanging itself, but learning about angel lust, that made that connection in my head for some reason).
Others may see it as a "harder" form of BDSM (one thing I personally don't understand the appeal of).
Sometimes, albeit rarely, it's used as a storywriting element (a perfect example being the nonstop gore in Attack on Titan, which serves to keep the viewer at the edge of their seat because death for a character could be around any corner, and, additionally, causes the viewer to feel a sense of seriousness about the ongoing story).

Ultimately, gore, snuff, and vore appeal to everyone for different reasons. It's not universal.

Honestly I don’t agree but I respect your opinion
This is a seriously strange and odd thing I can respect artistry to an extent but I cannot wrap my head around killing things you want to fuck

I respect your opinion as well, but, to be honest, I think that only rarely is it about killing something you want to get it on with.
There obviously are people out there turned on by necrophilia, and, frankly, I don’t encounter much necrophiliac content (not that it isn’t out there), but I think what I mentioned above are the primary reasons that gore appeals to some people.

I think it's mostly a matter of submission fetish, extreme. Subduing another male, defeating and humiliating him whereupon the other rules over that male. It is quite a primitive pleasure, and I suppose its equal but less cruel is that of watersports.
