  • Now that I think about it, why did nobody else made the connection that Samus' Power Suit is not based on the footsoldier model, but on a version specifically for space combat? That would justify the existence of the Varia and Gravity Suit not as simple upgrades for your every-day Powr Suit, but as specialised suits on their own, capable to fully functioning without having to be absorbed by a Power Suit

Thats a neat design for the original Chozo version of Samus' suit

I just like that the chozo skips straight to plasma mode (what is considered the most powerful non phazon based standard beam)

    What about the Annihilator Beam?

The annihilated not considered a standard beam, due it’s ammo issues and the fact that it is of luminoth construction. It and the PED hyper beam are both exceedingly powerful but Nither really are considered standard upgrades. And now that I think about it, even by luminoth stands that thing was not considered “standard use” as it was used only by their equivalent Samus, and heavy support mechs, like quadraxis…

The Nova Beam would then fit as standard weapon and its more powerfull than the Plasma Beam. But then, that particular Plasma Beam was probably not chozo-made, so we should compare the Nova to the one from Tallon IV.

To be fair the nova beam is only so powerful because it was paired with the x-ray visor, and the fact that it was litterally a mining cannon made by space pirates that have been mutated to the point of super intelligence (or it was stolen, I dunno) and made SPECIFICALLY for mining phazon.

And as a word for the plasma beam on t4, I’m genuinely not sure would compare it, as it seems like a very ancient version due to beam incompatibilities. along side it’s painfully slow fire rate, short range I think the verson best compared to the this image would be the 2d plasma beam (despite the color inaccuracies.) though the t4 verson still retains it’s rediculiously high damage and enemy pierce from the 2d games.
