MemberIs Rhoda husband a Cuck?
Lelou
MemberOpen relationship doesn't necessarily mean cuck.
Preppy
MemberBen's "open marriage" is very one sided. I don't think he enjoys being cheated on so he isn't a "cuck" but he definitely has been made a cuckold.
Kinda sucks that he gets cheated on so much since Ben is actually a pretty good guy.

JanitorDunno where you'd be getting the idea that he doesn't enjoy it considering there's nothing here to suggest that he feels that way. Just seems to me like he doesn't always have the sex drive to keep up with her, so they've agreed to let her seek alternate avenues to satisfy herself.
If anything its saving him his own sanity to not have to keep up with her sexual needs 24/7.
AlexanderMugetsu
MemberThat makes it sound as if he deserves to have his wife fuck other people because his sex drive isn't as naturally high as his.
As if he is being punished for not wanting to have sex all the time. That doesn't sound fair, not his fault his drive isn't as high as hers.
This description is leaving a bad taste in my mouth, IMO.
TheJokeIsImBisexual
MemberThe nature of their relationship pretty much states that he couldn’t be a cuck due to the whole open thing. It be like calling Rhonda a cuck cause I bet her husband has fucked lots of other women
Recursion
JanitorAgain, why does it have to be assumed that this is a negative thing? I feel like a lot of people are getting overly caught up in their own feelings rather than the (fictional) reality of their relationship. Being in a non-monogamous relationship doesn't have to mean that he is being "punished".

I don't think Inu-Sama is an inherently nice person anymore. Like, that's just projecting, if not outright forced slandering. I understand him wanting to do different relationships, but this just comes off sounding as bitter and mean-spirited.
xCobaltRainx
MemberIt’s nice seeing these get updated here and there.
Inusama
MemberI normally try to refrain from replying to comments, because I like to let people have their time, but I felt the need to talk about these because to me, this kind of interpretation of two very clearly happy people is an obvious case of projection.
Surely you understand my frustration with people willfully misinterpreting my characters and then making up some otherworldly narrative in which Rhoda is just some manipulative, heartless whore that abuses her husband so she can be the town bike, and her husband being this innocent victim that's being "cheated on" (Especially odd considering I don't think I've publicly dropped a whole lot of lore involving what Ben is actually even like, so "he's a pretty good guy" is a bit strange).
I'm normally in favor of people interpreting characters however they like, that's just the nature of fiction. But like....when it's staring you in the face that these two are very happy together it's kinda weird to be like "dang I feel bad for him, he gets cheated on so much". Because then people use this as an excuse to call me an awful person, or a cheater, or that I revel in people's misery. So you'll have to excuse me for not exactly taking it very lightly when people do that kind of thing.
Preppy
MemberHe looks like a silly, goofy pup so that makes him a pretty good guy in my books.
Good pup behavior: https://e621.net/posts/3555841?q=rhoda_%28the_dogsmith%29
besides, there has been at least one image where one of Rhoda's lovers insults (albeit in a bit of a minor way) Ben and she seemingly doesn't care so that leaves a bad impression.

Rhoda is a good character but I really like Ben (probably just the /hmoma/ part of me tho).
Danethesheep
MemberBut wait the only person I've seen Rhoda use a condom with is her husband most all her art is other dudes cuming inside her I thought that's where all her kids came from instead of her husband

MemberWell, you reap what you sow, don't you? People willfully misinterpreting an artist's characters in a negative light is very likely to make the artist snap back at them. Not rocket science.
zabivaka
Memberi mean... not to like, say it's totally canon in those pics... but she doesn't exactly try to keep her womb only for ben, yea? if it's canon, this ref sheet either tries to retcon it, forgot about that, or this is something that happens after. its most likely not canon tbo

And Did anyone read the "Bulldozer mom" part? She said that he pushes his own children to do things that they would not do.
