Get an IKEA Frakta each (the one with a zipper), it can fold flat when not in use, and can be used as a large backpack, and the zipper means stuff won't fall out

Also, the zippers has a small piece of ribbon that can used to keep the zippers close together, by putting one loop in the other and folding it back, and then tying a knot on them

Part of the point of saving money is so that you'll have it when you want to do something fun, silly, or not otherwise related to mere survival.

Weird timing, only a few days ago I got a bunch of ikea blue tarp bags and they've been super helpful for next to no cost.

This is me, except the cereal is video games during Steam sales. ^_^;

Silly things are just as necessary as food.
