I played that game through all the way the other day, and was a really great game! I loved flying through the tunnel and up the space elevator, felt like something out of Star Wars.

There’s a really long novel-length story about this universe somewhere, I read it a while ago, it’s a second person self insert-style story heavily involving the reader and ARA. I cannot for the life of me find it now and it’s bothering me.

That's a tower for holding people. It's listed as having 4.125mil usable floors and 7mil residents. Space elevators have 0 floors and no residents.

Well, no. If you are going to build a structure that goes all the way to GEO and beyond there is no reason to not also put some livable floors around the elevator if you have the materials for it.

No, it was a story, not a comic. If Fluff took that one down I doubt it exists online anymore.
