MemberI once had a cat that loved it
When i scratched his belly.
How do i know he loved it?
When i did it, his eyes were closed,
He was kneading and he was purring.
Rest in peace, my sweet prince...

MemberFact 2: When a cat seems to be inviting you for belly rubs, always suspect a trap. And it works on me every time.

Member50/50 chance you'll get bitten or scratched if you rub their belly.
I like those odds.

Membernot all cats attack you if you touch their belly some like it. unlike with dogs you dont ever want to give hard and fast belly rubs though they will attack then. its a matter if they see it as playing or not alot of our cat didnt mind belly rubs as we never tried to play with their belly with toys and kept the it near their front paws so they always knew play is paws only not belly. or we just got really lucky with a streak of cats that liked belly rubs lol. the last cat we had booboo(named after booboo chicken from micky mouse my nephews fav show at the time) he loved belly rubs he purr and all i miss him he was a outdoor cat that came in to eat had him from a kitten as his mom was a stray i befriended one day he left and didnt come back :(
