MemberWe can make this so much worse. Grabbing from dnd beyond, one trait the 5E centaur race gets and one feat available in core:
1. Equine Build. You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push or drag. In addition, any climb that requires hands and feet is especially difficult for you because of your equine legs. When you make such a climb, each foot of movement costs you 4 extra feet, instead of the normal 1 extra foot.
2. >You are a dangerous foe to face while mounted. While you are mounted and aren't incapacitated, you gain the following benefits:
>You have advantage on melee attack rolls against any unmounted creature that is smaller than your mount.
>You can force an attack targeted at your mount to target you instead.
>If your mount is subjected to an effect that allows it to make Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, it instead takes no damage if it succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if it fails.
So:
>Centaur stack
>Bottom centaur can dash every turn
>Every centaur can pass attacks up the stack to the top centaur, who spends every turn defending
>Every centaur but the top one has improved evasion
>Every centaur gets advantage for massacring goblins
