He stood up straight, thick slabs of muscle tightening underneath his stretching scales. If one had been close by, they might even be able to hear the leathery, clenching sound of his hands balling into fists. Looking every bit the savage beast he was advertised to be, the Bound Dragon tugged at the weighty chains holding him fast, but his gaze was locked stoically forward at the gate his adversary would emerge from. Steam billowed from the nostrils of his helmet, and his tail whipped back and forth as he shifted his balance from leg to powerful leg.
In his excitement, he had even gotten a hard-on, right there in front of all those spectators. They loved it.
It was difficult to imagine any practical use for equipment that big, besides as maybe a bludgeoning weapon. If his eagerness and savage energy for the fight made discerning spectators respect him, the monster that swung between his legs made them fear him.

MemberI love coming back to this story. The premise is dark with someone being enslaved, yet the bounded dragon is never treated like a slave. It's an odd feeling of hope and perspective even if I doubt any of it was intended.
