Hobkins are a race of magical creatures that come from the DnD (Dungeons and Dragons) universe. Though not official.

They live in a massive, country sized crater that was created by a mysterious event many 10's of thousands of years ago!

This event opened a wound in the earth, exposing magical leylines that spewed forth magical energy! The same energy that eventually gave birth to many magical creatures, including the hobkin, and a colossal tree that produces magical nectar and fruits for those creatures.

Today, the Hobkin have difficulty surviving in any place that doesn't have an abundance of magical energy, and so they wear specially made bracers and chokers that act as portable mana sources so they can survive outside of the crater without suffering magic deprivation.

I've seen way too many hobkins. Along with sergals, walking toasters (protogens), rexouiums, nanachis, and ammonia birds (avali).

I have been a protogen for 10 years now it wasn't main stream when I started

I just say that because (before my pc shitted its guts out) I was on VRChat a lot and I hang around with a bunch of furries and those, including the walking toasters, were what I see most of the time.
