Fertile Tenderness

Before gaining her current status, Selene was a mortal queen who used her power to better the lives of the citizens who resided in her kingdom; causing many to both celebrate and cherish her. As Selene’s kindness and generosity set her apart from the previous queen, both her subjects, soldiers, and allies were understandable devastated by the news of her presumed death. However, in a rather bizarre twist, now that Selene has been given the status of goddess along with greater power than she had in her mortal life; she has no one particularly close to use it on. While Selene does bestow her grace and blessings on various mortals in need, at the end of the day she still finds herself alone, even during times in which company would be more preferred. For example: as Selene has offered to be the surrogate for many who desire a child of their own but are unable to; she always finds herself handling the responsibility of birth by herself. Due to her body, Selene doesn’t experience the same symptoms or pain that a normal woman would when it comes to giving birth; but it doesn’t mean she still doesn’t like the support and encouragement that comes with cradling and caring for new life. There are times in which Selene wishes to share the experience with others, such as allowing other to feel the faint, yet unmistakable heartbeat of the child she will soon bring into the world. Other times, Selene just wishes to have trusted company by her side while she’s still carrying the child; at times desiring an escort when she travels to locations to ensure nothing goes wrong. Despite her feelings, it’s safe to assume that Selene would still be a bit nervous about receiving such attention during her time carrying; but she would undoubtedly cherish it!

*TRIVIA: Selene has openly stated she doesn’t eat meat or fish, currently making her the only character who is a vegetarian.
