Aviarian (Ay-vee-airy-in) Wolves are a diverse Marsupial species that does not live on earth anymore. The three subspecies that make up Aviarians are: Common Aviarians (image above), Northern Aviarians (almost indistinguishable from common ones, however, their fur flips over like sequin to reveal thin, black, reflective scales) and Astrilite Aviarians (Aviarians that are given or otherwise born with magic that exceeds normal amounts. Very few exist, and have faces that resemble the universe, with stars and planets seen inside). Despite being called wolves, they are genetically more similar to tasmanian tigers, however, still possess canine traits and genetics. They are adapted to hot climates, with thin fur to not trap as much heat. They possess an intelligence on par with those on earth, however, they retain some feral instincts. The species has sexual dimorphism, Females often being larger than males. Intersex variations are more common than on earth, as females and males are both very similar sexually. Aviarians are omnivores, 70% of their diet coming from plants. Males are the ones who bear children, the females having an ovipositor that is directly connected to their womb and ovaries to deposit the ovi into the males womb, for him to fertilise and protect. Once developed, the pups will be birthed through the pouch canal. As they lack placentas, they evolved the pouch canal to make the journey to the pouch less treacherous for the pups. The canal is similar to a vagina, however, the species does not call it a vagina. Aviarians are incredibly sexually fluid and fluid with gender, as their religion is very sexually based. Unlike most religions, sex is considered not a disgusting act, but a pleasurable one that is healthy to bring the souls of the people together. Public sex and even sex being used as a form of payment is common. Incest often occurs, as does polygamous relationships. Sexual exploration is promoted. Aviarian society is rather neutral gender-wise. Bathrooms are neutral, and femininity and masculinity arent terms they apply to clothes, objects or anything else. Aviarians are also open about gender identity, seeing those who are transgender as those whos souls were swapped. In their religion, their is your sex and then your soul, which is tied to a gender identity. While the world is neutral with gender roles and expressions, gender identity is still considered important to them, however, not as a thing for others to see, but as ones internal view of themselves. Your souls gender may or may not align with your sex, which is how they describe the transgender experience. Aviarian government is ruled via colonies, 6 to be exact. 6 monarchs rule over each colony with their families, then below them are their respective council, then the individual cities senates, and then the people. This higherarchy only refers for government decisions, and not general wealth or otherwise status. The monarch must receive approval from each lower class of what their change in law would be before they can execute said law. Aviarians are a generally timid species that do not prefer war, however, Northern Aviarians are more aggressive in behaviour, due to their initial split being caused by earth beings tainting them.

A. Because i do not feel comfortable with people modifying my species to a severe degree. This has occured multiple times, and i very much dislike it as it completely throws away the species
