  • James just could have, you know, stopped drawing these characters for a while. Why kill them off?

James, you're on this site, aren't you? Whassup?

  • I just feel like the last one is gonna get slammed by a mack truck...and then it just ends up being a nightmare or something...I hope

  • I suppose this fits in with Naylor's treatment of that slut bunny he had in Better Days. People are going to persist in wanting to know what's been happening with the character. Killing them off in an exceedingly final way is one method of limiting that. I don't think it's the best one, and I dislike seeing it applied to characters that were a small but notable part of my discovery of all the fun to be had in the furry fandom. But, they're his characters, it really is up to him.

  • From what I recall him saying, he said this was how the STORY went, but they will still show up in side projects and such. I don't think he'll ever "stop" drawing these ladies every once in a while.

I also enjoy seeing gritty stuff, even if this is absurdly cruel to the characters, worse things have happened.

Same here. Dr Comet first got me interested.but it was the sisters (specifically Onyx), that dragged me down hook line and sinker. Oh well, all things must come to an end right? But as the saying goes. Better to have loved and lost, than to never loved at all (no pun intended).

I hear ya; Disney got me though or rather the resulting fan-art.
