It's not a mask, it's a muzzle. What you're probably talking about is the attachment. It's a breathplay implement called a rebreather bag. When most people think of breathplay they think erotic asphyxiation, but it can be anything where the sub doesn't have full control over how they breathe. With a rebreather bag, the harder you try to breathe in through it, the less air you actually get. You have to control your breathing and breathe slowly if you want to last with it.
