(The neighborhood cat told him you bought a new fox to replace him, he's waiting for you to reveal what's inside)
(You open the box, it's a pretty red brush)
(His eyes widen in surprise, tears stop flowing)
(You hold your your arm & scooch him towards you. You move the tiny brush down his fur)
(He asks if you still love him, you ask him why he's say such a thing, he tells you the rumor he heard)
(You giggle & soon start laughing softly, then continue to brush his fur)
(He sniffs the last few tears from his eyes, his fear & sadness slowly drain away, as if removed from his fur by the little red brush)
