    No, I'm mocking.

Mocking what? This thing? You realize the "original character do not steal" thing only works for stuff that is clearly based on something else, right? Like Sonic or some bullshit like that?

I think it's mostly aimed at what seems like "I can transform to do anything because I want to / am indecisive." Sorta like the furs I've seen or known that change their Sona every other week. Sorta indirect.

Nothing against the commissioner or artist. The art is solid and the character could be worse. It does just come off as a little unlimited though, which is bland and annoying to some.

Whenever people try to be overly unique. The line comes from a "Original character do not steal" found somewhere on the picture or whereever it was posted because they're so proud of their invention.

No, the line comes from some Sonic OC or whatever that was pretty much just a pallette swap. It specifically pokes fun at people whose "original characters" are only a single colour change away from total plagiarism.

It has nothing to do with people being overly unique. Quite the opposite, in fact. It mocks profound unoriginality, not people who go a bit overboard with giving their characters weird traits.

Well, I guess the joke's on me then. Still, not quite fond of the picture.
