1) People genuinely connect with a legitimately compassionate and loving character that just wants to protect the player from harm.

2) A large portion of the internet has a big-time mommy fetish.

It is the perfect opportunity for Toby to screw with his audience, so it's either going to be an almost completely innocuous anticlimax or something just spicy enough to be PG and evoke some laughs while still fueling a Bowsette-level explosion of fanart.

Now thats is the burning question. But i have the idea that Toriel might be in the dark world but cant be a playable character maybe is a character that should rescue or be there. But whatever happends, there's no doubt that number is gonna be a 30k in the same year of the chapter realesed

Oh wow, never thought of this possibility, well not just with what u said but I haven’t given it much thought (I have a little bit but not much), but yeah there might be a “Dark World Toriel” to begin with, guess cuz Ralsei is, idk (not super knowledgeable on DeltaRune lore especially lately) supposed to be Asriel’s “self-image” but yeah who knows what we’ll get, if on the level of Bowsette or who knows!

Seriously, it’s quite comical knowing that almost every main mlp character has greater, if not similar, numbers that would make Renamon, Toriel, Isabelle, and any well known Pokemon like Vaporeon, Lopunny, Gardevoire, etc. run for their money. Pretty funny stuff (or freaky, depending on who you ask).
