Adding cat ears to a girl does not make some art "furry".

This is a character in a manga/anime. Not someone's attempt to justify uploading art of just a human by slapping ears/a tail on them.

Edit: And it just so happens to be the 621st Spice and Wolf image uploaded here, heh.

    Not furry

A late comment... but surprisingly, e6's wiki guidelines give leeway to anything with animal ears/tail to qualify as *Not* "not_furry"... So you're "wrong".

I don't know if I agree with this. I'll admit this is a rather nice image overall, even in the kinda-hot territory; the artist knows what they're doing and it's decent from an anatomical/composition/expression point of view.
But at the same time, FUCK ANYONE who downvoted your responses without following up with a counterpoint. This site used to be "the dedicated furry booru" and the fact that you've been nuked and seraziel's art is so routinely popular is an indication of how flooded with the mainstream/"normies" it's become lately.

I don't want to see this become normal on this particular corner of the internet, for the same reason I don't want to see furries take over Pixiv or Newgrounds. Different sites should do their own thing, and this content should be a side-show on e6 at most.

  • TLDR The picture is beautiful, please be kind, and this is a great website. :)

I'll start with compliments to the artist. Very nice picture. Amazingly done and obviously knows anatomy. I favorited it.

I'm not here to take a side on the argument though as I get both sides but can we please keep it civil? I am grateful that the swearing and attacking is getting downvoted into the fog but it would be better if people could just not swear at each other and attack each other and then their valid opinions could be discussed properly instead of disappearing.

I will mention that the likely reason that this stuff is becoming popular here is partly because this site is better constructed than all the other boorus. There is one little on topic ad banner and then it's just content, content, content. The tagging system is really flushed out too and blacklisting, for the most part, works better here than elsewhere. In fact most of those other sites have big picture ads of content that I usually want to blacklist mixed into the search results so regardless of which content I am after on a given day I always come here first. My compliments to whoever is responsible for creating this particular booru. It's a masterwork in the booru community.

P.S. Sorry for the wall of text. :P
