Zoe Meditates

I almost wish Zoe's first comic hadn't been about the intricate details of her raunchy affair with another woman's man. She's a lot more than that and has some more character development coming up in the current Original Life story arc.

When I was heavily into metaphysics and New Age mysticism as a young man, images like this struck a real cord with me. They still do. They carry the connotation of a confident, serene, and introspective woman, all attractive attributes. I took a lot of good things away from meditative practices, like the ability to focus, a degree of self analysis, and the skill of independent thought. It's still a good practice, even after I've learned to throw away all the anti-mind mysticism and philosophies that are often sold with it.
