All she knows is that she was a (dead) human in hell, broke out, and somehow ended up in the body/shape/form of this dino-demon. If the comic is anything like the story it's based on, then this is all we're going to know, for... quite a long while.

Sounds like how one would idly talk to a pet, or a farm animal. One would assume from this that he is very used to killing these things, and didn't mind "chatting" to it while he worked.
