When you use the AC, you're cooling your house but heating the rest of the planet. I'm not a scientist, but I think the same might hold true with water. So using hot water would lead to cooler water in the world, while using cold water might lead to hotter water in the world. Though I'll remind you, I'm not a scientist.

Nope, when you use hot water, your boiler heats the water using electrical energy, there is no cooling anywhere
