My first thought was that time was escaping her or seeing them in the future which suggests time being irregular for ghosts. Pretty lonely and terrifying

Yeah she probably can't leave the attic at all. My guess is that by the end of the comic, the boy hooks up with his stepsister, and the ghost either passes on or gets reincarnated.

The way the word promise is overlayed, i'd guess it triggered some kind of memory.

No, she was able to get into the boys room and bed before. So her suddenly not being able to leave suggests some kind of change.

The entire first chapter took place in the attic and in the second chapter his room is in the attic. So I'm pretty sure it's all been in the attic so far for the ghost.

This is one of my favorite comics, too bad the ghost can't go with them.

Is she disappearing completely or just invisible in the light? Because her just being invisible creates new possibilities.

Our general assumption is that Clara can't leave the attic, or that she disappears in light.

I remember waiting for each page of this to come out and getting excited when one was released. Really sad to see it be in the past.

I’m guessing it reminded the ghost of a promise that was made in the past when she was alive and the persons shown is maybe her and the person who broke that promise and is maybe the cause why she’s stuck in the attic or the house and can’t move to the afterlife.
