She is bound to bamboo. She's to be impaled with bamboo. Unless sprouts grow way faster, wouldn't she just get lifted into the air, with a coarse goosing now and then? (yeah she's tied to the ground but you get the idea)

that's a sharpened bamboo top, it looks like. You ever try cutting or snapping bamboo? It is obscenely strong. If it really grows 3 feet per day, this would be like having a spear slowly thrust into you over the course of 24 hours.

And the worse part is she'll be a really loose corpse! [Worstpersonevertrollface/]

no.. sprouts of bamboo are sharp.. some are much sharper than one is drawn. Also cutting of top of bamboo will stop it growing.. and will totally ruin sprout.

when they gestate and pop from seed, it's kind of telescopic tube out of thin segments, ready to unfold.. that's why it grows fast, under inner pressure created by root. Thing is.. segments are very thin and fragile.. in way she is bound, she able to wiggle and destroy top of sprout, stopping it from growing.
It is believed that victims were bund much more tighter, to be unable to move at all

This method of torture is awesome.

I'm enjoying this more than I should.

there is a problem though LOL ,
she is strapped to the same bamboo which will grow at the same rate as the one underneath her , so she will always be in this exact position.
the one being used as a spike will never reach :)

Bamboo, like any other plant, grows from the top, so only the top of the bamboo moves...
