I have an idea of a world where the only creatures to reach sentience and a humanoid body shape were animals of Carnivora (Caniforms and Feliforms). In my concept for it, then Dire Wolves are suposed to have a generally more Gaelic (Scottish or Irish) vibe to them, as opposed to the Arctic Wolves who are more Scandinavian, or the Grey Wolves whose cultural themes cover most the rest of Christian Europe (especially those speaking Romance languages, inspiration from Powerwolf.
