The smaller version was posted, because at least at the time mods at e621 were hunting and deleting automatic Patreon upscales, which I suspect this is another example of.

Could be, though that would be a bit weird as the colored version Is the exact same resolution, and it’s been here for quite some time.

The colored version came from DeviantArt, so it's definitely not an upscale.
I'm just concerned for another purge. I definitely won't have the energy to redo all that a second time, especially since digging up older Patreon posts is a huge pain.
