Actually they do less damage because of the doomsday reload time and cost of titan is 40times more.

PS this dred uses railguns, not lasers.

Doomsdays aren't the only weapons titans can use. Titans also get a hefty bonus to their racial capital weapons (100% per level), meaning a 500% bonus at level 5. The dread's siege module gives a 625% bonus (and at dread 5, a 25% ROF bonus), but that doesn't cancel out the fact that a Titan has twice as many hardpoints as a dread PLUS the doomsday.

Still, in terms of bang-for-the-buck, dreads are better.

Those guns aren't even acceptable for orbital bombardment, they would burn up before hitting the ground. You need small turrets loaded with orbital bombardment shells, and I don't think anyone is crazy enough to put small turrets on a dreadnought.
