By cutting the neck, you also cut severe arteries to the neck, cutting off bloodflow, constricting blood to the brain-- and besides that, they would be intense pain the entire time from you shoving your hog down their sensitive muscles. You'd have to transfuse blood into both ends and it would end up just makin' a huge mess.
