and the story goes down hill from there :/

I bet the little brother dies while wandering the city on his own, and the older one blames himself for it. What do you think?

So is the main character the same one in all of this guy's/girl's comics? Or are they all different?

Its kind of confusing, Shane Frost (he is a guy :p) is the main character as such, but none of his comics are related to each other really. Alternatively they may have all taken place at different times. Or a wild thought is that they all take place in alternative universes (just a thought lol). But his comics are less about the story as they are about the meaning behind them. Each one tell an amazing story and have an even deeper meaning behind them, so yeah.

    Anyway have a great day/night <3.

Thanks, guys. While I like this guy's comics, I'm someone who likes consistency within consistency. This guys does the same kinds of comics with the same purpose, it seems, but whether or not he uses the same person as the main character is a bit of a deterrence for me. It won't keep me from reading his comics, but as someone who likes stories, when consistency is kept in such a manner as this, I would like continued consistency to where the main character is the same in all of them, as well. It makes me feel more familiar with the main character and also let's me be more fascinated in the author's world since all of these creatures exist in the same world and it's not just one lonely creature amongst a bunch of humans in each iteration.

  • Courier pretty much has it on the nose. Every now and then, a series might have a continuation ( Fangs for the conversation ) or is longer than usual one offs ( Hissed Connections ) but they all have their separate worlds. It' kind of apparent what themes I enjoy, and what dynamics I want to share at this point. If you want to get right down to the thin wire though..

A man came to me when I felt like a monster, and he treated me like nothing was wrong with me. Since then, that's what I've wanted to see more of. Its my little slice of happiness that I share again and again. So there is a man, a monster, happiness and sadness, and the fleeting moments of silliness in-between. They are silhouettes. Welcome to my world. You've been here plenty of times, and lord knows you'll be here plenty more if you stick with me.
