Actually I think he'd be an incredibly gentle lover to her, treating her like the fine gemstone he sees her as, though she DOES have a violent streak and I could easily see her caving into those desires with him.

Looks more like bandages, but it's not like it's much of an issue as he appears to be fully internal "until needed".

Yet, another reason why Sparity could be real on the show.

On a side note, I think fluttershy might be more jealous/angry then concerned for he's health.

Fluttershy's reaction and the look on Spike's face in the last panel made me laugh. I hardly think shes going to kill him Flutters.

It would be a very sweet pairing to see come to fruition, though it might follow an excusing "timeskip" to make Spike a little larger if only to excuse away the junk about him being too young, but that's an argument I don't wanna get into.

Spike having true love for Rarity is canonical and that's good enough for me.

I usually fall on the "baby dragon" thing as he's dragon so they age much more slowly than a pony. To others of his species he's a baby, but to ponies he's older than the cmc. I've always thought he was at least 5-7 years younger than the mane 6 meaning even if they are all 18-20 Spike would still be a teenager. A young teen but not a baby. Besides when has age ever been an issue in our world. 45 (I refuse to call Donald president) has a good 20 years on Melania.

Indeed. Twilight was something around the young young age of 5-6-7 when she hatched him and some "unofficial yet official" statement was made that the 6 were at least 20-21 when the series starts (and I don't care what anyone says, Rarity is the oldest of the group with how she has such a business mind and awareness of the world). Spike being 15-16 when the series starts is a fair guess, but also look at what he is occupied with: he doesn't find girls "gross" and actually finds them attractive (well, he's enamored with Rarity. The fact that he didn't show any interest beyond friendship with Ember speaks something of his upbringing, methinks...). He reads comics, is into D&D, has a job, doesn't go to any schooling, and so on.

He also has no interaction with the younger ponyville inhabitants; you never see him with the CMC or any of the schoolyard youngsters, he's always with the older characters.

So yeah, "baby" for a dragon, but he's very clearly more mature than he's given credit for.

And here we see Twilight reminding Rarity who is REALLY in charge aboard this ship. XD

Also, I can guess what Spike's thinking in that last panel: "My whole body feels like it's going to die in agonizing pain right now. ...TOTALLY. WORTH IT. <3"

Dat last panel tho... Seriously, Rarity is just lovey-Dovey for "The-Hulk-of-a-dragon" that is Spike.
