The 3DS is surprisingly good to draw with, especially if you're using a drawing pen meant for a wacom tablet. The screen is really smooth to work with and is really responsive. I don't know how it compares to a cintiq, but I can draw/trace 100x better on a 3ds than anything else.

The only downside is that the screen is pretty small to work with, even if you're using a 3DS XL, and the top screen gets in the way a lot when you want to try get different angles and still have a finger on the left shoulder button to undo a move.
