Series: Lost on a Desert Island

The first arc of the Mickey Mouse newspaper comic strip, written by Walt Disney and illustrated by Ub Iwerks. The first two weeks of this arc are loosely based on the animated short "Plane Crazy " followed by a sequence inspired by the short "Jungle Rhythm ". This arc notably contains some racial stereotypes that the Disney Company has long since distanced itself from.
