A new prototype of Exp Share which allows for Exp gained by a pokemon to be recorded into the device, fell into the hands of two trainers. With the Exp in the device stored purely to level up Rockruffs, the trainers are enthusiastic at being able to be the hopeful owners of their own lycanrocs.

Despite initial warnings, the trainer borrowing the device caves into their curiosity to get a more personal look through the eyes of the visor in hopes of being able to see what a Lycanroc sees. To his initial dismay, the visor offers him much more than just a visual glimpse through the eyes of a Lycanroc.
