The ROFL Pack was a team of young wolf pranksters from Los Angeles that had become (in)famous on social media for their daring pranks. For the sake of attention, they would livestream themselves hopping into a stranger’s car claiming it to be their Uber, or even breaking into people’s homes and recording themselves doing so, hoping to get a funny (read: outraged) reaction from the homeowner. After all, the more scandalous the better, since it’s bound to get more attention.
Sure, it nearly bit them in the ass a few times (they even almost got shot once) but, in the end, they would always get away with it.
So… Why “was”, you may ask ? Well, because one night, they simply pulled one stunt too many. They did what pranksters tend to eventually do sooner or later : they messed with the wrong person. And no amount of panicked cries of “wait, this is just a prank !” helped as the massive, 11 feet tall hyena they had just woken up effortlessly forced them all down her gullet, one after another.
Usually, when someone gets eaten, what really happened to them tends to be ambiguous; they just go missing one day, never to be seen again, and people simply reach the logical conclusion : that Whatshisface lucked out, ran into some random pred who was feeling hungry, took a one-way trip down said pred’s digestive tract and now permanently resides somewhere in the city’s sewer system.
But in the ROFL Pack’s case, their fate was anything but ambiguous. Because their phone was still recording when the huge hyena’s stomach filled with acids and started softening them up live, in front of their many helpless followers.
Such pranks started to become significantly less common after that. And those who still took part in them wisely decided to stay the Hell away from the house where the four wolves’ streaming account got “permanently suspended”.
