We are in the middle of a mass extinction, the scale of which has only been surpassed by 5 other events in Earth’s history. The cause of many of these extinctions can only be guessed upon but theories include gigantic super-volcanoes, the planet being covered in ice, super novas and giant space rocks; things you’d expect from a disaster movie. So you’d think that the mass extinction we find ourselves in was some eldritch horror like all the others but of course not. This mass extinction we find ourselves is being caused by humans and our destructive habits. While I think we’re probably fucked, like 90% chance, I still hold hope that we can turn this around. The only way of doing that is spreading the word and making sure as many people know this is happening. So to make sure some of you weapons actually pay attention, gotta show em some porn. Our biosphere is like a game of Jenga, you can only remove so many species before it all comes crashing down, effecting every single being on the planet.

When a species is listed as ‘Critically Endangered’ on the IUCN Red List, it is in a particularly and extremely critical state with an extremely high chance of going extinct within the next 30 years unless we are able to intervene.
